EXPOSITION de Nathalie  Lenoir

Née en 1965 à SOISSONS, Nathalie LENOIR commence une série « Montagnes » en 2004 et réoriente sa vie professionnelle pour se consacrer entièrement à la peinture paysagiste dès 2015.

Après avoir vécu dans le Jura puis en Haute-Savoie, cette peintre de la montagne fixe son chevalet dans l’Ain où les paysages bucoliques succèdent aux sommets enneigés.

En 2020 elle aborde une nouvelle période de créativité autour des couleurs cuivre-or-argent et des formes répétitives et symétriques.

Les réactions ne se font pas attendre : le regard est surpris !

«  Je vous invite à déambuler dans un labyrinthe de points, suivre les traces du pinceau sur la toile, dans la dynamique du cuivre, or, argent.

Droites, courbes, arabesques se croisent ou s’évitent.

La symétrie équilibre le regard qui ne se pose plus sur la matière, mais sur son mouvement. »

Nathalie Lenoir - A Pictorial Language Between Nature and Movement

Born in 1965 in Soissons, Nathalie Lenoir began her “Mountains” series in 2004, before devoting herself entirely to landscape painting from 2015 onward. After living in the Jura and later Haute-Savoie, she settled in the Ain region, where gentle hills echo the memory of snow-covered peaks.

In 2020, a new creative impulse emerged: she began exploring copper, gold, and silver tones, giving rise to works shaped by symmetry and repetition. The viewer’s gaze is drawn in—startled, captivated by the pulse of pattern.

Straight lines, curves, arabesques—intersecting or drifting apart.
Symmetry brings balance to the eye, which no longer rests on matter itself, but on its movement.”
