CERN Library launches new newsletter to connect with CERN community

|

The CERN Scientific Information Service is excited to announce the launch of the CERN Library newsletter designed to strengthen ties with the CERN community.

The newsletter is available on CERN Notifications, and will deliver a curated selection of literary highlights, event announcements, and exclusive insights into the world of scientific information. Tailored to meet the reading appetites of patrons, this weekly newsletter promises to keep interested readers in the loop about the latest arrivals hitting the shelves, both in print and electronically.

This newsletter however is not just about books; it's a platform to share the richness of the library experience, from upcoming events to gems within the library collection. For example, the Meet the Author events offer the opportunity to meet notable literary figures and provide readers with a deeper understanding of the creative minds behind the books.

You will also be informed on upcoming short training sessions organised by the Scientific Information Service, explaining how to loan books, access e-resources, submit papers in open access, and much more! The training is open to everyone: both newcomers as well as members of personnel who have been at CERN for some time can join the 30 minute training session.

Sign up for the CERN Library newsletter today and open the door to weekly literary updates, right in your inbox. Simply go to https://cern.ch/n-wnd, click on the ‘Subscribe’ button and choose the book topics you are interested in (by clicking the links available in the description). Stay connected, stay informed, and let the joy of reading unfold with each new edition.
