CERN has inaugurated its new emblematic centre for science education and outreach targeting a public of all ages. The building was designed by world-renowned architect Renzo Piano and funded by external donations.
“Image Capital”, an artistic project by Armin Linke and Estelle Blaschke, explores the history and the present of photography as information technology. CERN and its community have supported the research for the project.
