Squeezing SUSY: searches in the compressed phase space at CMS

Where:

503/1-001 at CERN

Results from the CMS experiment are presented for supersymmetry searches targeting so-called compressed spectra, with small mass splittings between the different supersymmetric partners. Such a spectrum presents unique experimental challenges. This talk presents the latest CMS searches targeting the compressed SUSY spectrum, covering for the first time at the LHC the gap in the very small neutralino-chargino mass difference the Higgsino simplified model. Prospects at the HL-LHC will also be discussed.
