Alumni event on 16 September – "News from the lab: the ALPHA experiment"

The latest edition of the "News from the Lab" event series will be dedicated to CERN's ALPHA experiment and will take place on Thursday 16 September from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Scott Menary and Ina Carli will explain how they trap antihydrogen and perform measurements on it. They will then present the most recent results, including laser cooling of the antihydrogen and lay out their plans to test gravitational interaction of antimatter.
