Long Shutdown 3 (LS3) is approaching. During long shutdowns, the number of people doing classroom safety courses goes up by as much as 40%.
To make sure that you can access the installations when the time comes and are fully prepared from the safety point of view, you should start to think about your training needs right now.
LS3 is also a strategic time to boost your skills and acquire new knowledge.
Don’t delay!
- Talk to your supervisor to determine which safety training courses will be required for your tasks during LS3.
- Take a look at the training catalogue and check that your previous safety training is still valid on the CERN Learning Hub.
- Enrol now for the relevant classroom courses!
Planning your safety training needs in advance will help you avoid long waiting lists for safety courses and guarantee you a place on the right course before you need to request access to a specific installation.
If no session is scheduled or the available dates are inconvenient, put your name on the waiting list. This will also help us to establish the demand and organise new sessions accordingly.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Thank you for planning ahead.
